Stress No Longer a Fact of Life…

Retired and Pain Free…

Doing the practice before going to bed really helps me transition into sleep and my sleep is extending (I’ve had trouble getting more than five hours or so sleep for a while now).

Bulging Discs

Well 28 days are over but yes my husband and have made 15 minutes using our relaxaback part of our everyday day. The secret is having the space permanently set up and we have the advantage of a spare room so we are able to do that. We have not missed a day and quite a few days we have had 2 x 15 mins.

How do we feel? My overall back posture has improved and I now consciously make the effort to stand up straight. My neck and shoulders are not as tight

Alan has always had lower back pain resulting from a fall from a horse as a teenager and although it is still there it is not annoying him and I have not been asked to apply Voltaran gel on his back for 2 weeks. That is an improvement. He is really happy that his pain has eased and he does not think about it so much

Love the relaxation time. I use the relaxaback when i get home from school and it is the perfect way to relax and unwind. Sometimes I have gone to sleep.

We feel better because we can see that making the time each day has a positive return.

I am more balanced than I was. I still have to work on this but I am much improved on what I was. My best evidence of the ‘magic’ this device can do is my recent entry into the Fred Hollows 50KM walk from Balmoral to Coogee, OVERNIGHT.

This is something I just would not have even contemplated prior to restoring my body with Relaxaback.

My 30 year journey began when I was a teenager. I loved waterskiing, late nights, lots of activity and generally stopped ‘hearing’ what my body was telling me.  After an incident where I came off my ski’s and aquaplaned for some distance on my chin, my pain began.

Of course I went down all the usual routes for ‘fixing’ everything. Physio, chiro, traction, pain medication, massage .. the list goes on.  My chiro mentioned Paul and his Relaxaback technique and at that point, after once again being immobilized and in extreme pain for over a week, I thought, OK it’s has to be something I’m doing – my body can’t be that screwed up!

I now practice with the Relaxaback device everyday and during times of increased stress (studying for exams) I increase that to gain further benefits and avoid painful moments.

Although I no longer need chiro, I still attend to ensure everything is aligned.  My Chiro, Darren, said he can ‘feel’ the difference in my neck and shoulders and that if on the rare occasion something is out of place, it simply glides back into synch without resistance – my body and I are finally cooperating!

I’ve had a lot of sessions with chiropractors, done muscle strengthening work at the gym and taken massages, but I still always end up getting headaches and end up back on the codeine. I bought Relaxaback and started using it every day for 15 minutes. Less Expense

I have had intense lower back pain since I injured that area playing footy at the age of 19… now 67. Over that period I would have seen Drs and Physios 6 times a year on average. In 1988 I had surgery on L4 and L5 which involved all the usual stuff. This was successful, in that the pain was down to something I could live with and the total lack of sensation in my left leg was returned to say 80%.

All of this would have cost between $30,000 and $40,000 over that period, so with all due respect, the cost of the RelaxaBack, does not register on the Richter Scale even though it is the most effective treatment I have found over all those years. If anyone whinges about the cost of RelaxaBack, feel free to use my example.

Had a big relapse this morning . All the pain and no way to relieve it. Got home, got into Relaxaback mode and ... bingo..... Pain gone . Feel great again now.

Neck Pain

Postural Patterns

Hello Paul, My daughter Billy, gave me your introductory disk and I have been using it for 8 days.

I’m 68 and have had a 2 accidents involving vertebral fractures – the first at 35, a crush to 2 lumbar vertebrae and sacro-illiac  and the second 3 years ago when sitting in the bow of a steel boat when it hit a box wave throwing me up and down, fracturing the same 2 vertabrae. My spine looks like a heap of untidy blocks and the bony structures are a bit close.

Anyway, I get on quite well except if I lift or do things that encourage that ‘closeness.’ Can’t play golf any more, but love gardening, play petanque and generally have a good life. Aches and pains are a constant but I think how lucky I’ve been not to have spinal chord damage.( I was an Occupational therapist and worked for a while in the spinal unit at Melbournes Austin Hospital)

Physiotherapy has always got me into difficulty, Pilates –shocking, yoga – no. Chinese acupuncture, a bit helpful, chiropractic, not much improvement. Yep, I’ve spent heaps!

Have always believed in natural therapies, meditation etc and take no drugs – panadol if I’m v sore. Ever since the 2nd accident I’ve found it difficult (painful) to lie on the floor. But I’ve padded it up with an old thick bedspread and I’m finding it really great.

I’ve kept notes of the last 8 days(such a good idea) and can see how far I’ve come. Can’t believe how quickly the 15 minutes goes and today how good my posture is when I get up from the floor.

In the meantime, I’m loving my 15 minutes relaxing and listening to the Currumbin Creek and I’m sure it’s doing me all sorts of good.

Posture Improved

I haven't missed a day yet! I was shopping at Robina today, (something I hate to do my Mum often comments I'm missing a gene or something) anyway, I noticed my reflection in the shop window and the first thing that struck me was my posture, OMG! I'm 50 next Birthday and I should be shrinking... yet I appeared in the reflection much taller than I did in my 20's.

My pain level has dropped 60 percent, I'm also subconsciously aware that I'm using my diaphragm to breath rather than my upper chest, when did that sneak in? I'm so grateful to you Paul and your Relaxaback Program it truly is changing my life.

Final Report

Physically:-

  1. No lower back pain.

  2. 80 % less thoracic pain.

  3. No neck pain.

  4. I'm breathing from my diaphragm and not my upper chest anymore. I automatically start the 'relaxed breathing technique' if I feel stressed, ( which is hardly ever now… get that?)

  5. I think I need to buy new orthotics for my feet, because I'm using the whole of my foot with contact on the floor. Where before I used to throw my toes out and put the weight on the outsides of my heels.

  6. NO hip pain, yippee!

  7. My shoulders are dropped and relaxed. Over-all posture a massive improvement.

  8. Increased energy and concentration.

  9. Several friends commented I look different.

  10. Improved balance and strength whilst horse riding.


Emotionally:-

  1. I'm happy!

  2. Content.

  3. Grateful.

  4. At peace.

  5. Calm.

  6. Honest with my emotions.


The 'Charger' has gone! She has disappeared into my yoga mat :) Left behind is a women that is 'going to live till she dies'! In a comfortable and functional body.

Zumba

I am DELIGHTED to tell you that after 4 weeks of "lying down" every day and not doing any zumba etc - I am now able to lie on my back on the floor with none of the previous pain. I can get up and down off the floor with no issues and I really can't believe how quickly your method worked for me.

So now I am happily back at zumba and starting to bring more exercise in to my life - and just making sure I spend 10-15 mins each day lying on my back.

Getting out of bed in the morning is no longer a painful process - I thought we were going to have to get a new bed because of my back pain but it's absolutely fine now.

So thank you thank you thank you - This release of pain has been extraordinary and I am telling all my friends about the Relaxaback.

I am DELIGHTED to tell you that after 4 weeks of "lying down" every day and not doing any zumba etc - I am now able to lie on my back on the floor with none of the previous pain. I can get up and down off the floor with no issues and I really can't believe how quickly your method worked for me. So now I am happily back at zumba and starting to bring more exercise in to my life - and just making sure I spend 10-15 mins each day lying on my back.
